Who:
Middle-aged, white male
Where:
Wendy's, Dixie Highway, by school
What Happened:
I walked into Wendy's and opened the door for myself. I hear from behind me, "Well, you beat me to it, but I'll at least take it [the door] from you," from a middle-aged man. I thanked him and proceeded to the counter to place my order. After ordering, I began to get out my money, but I dropped one of the coins. I bent down to pick that one up, and dropped two more. I mumbled to myself, "I'm having money issues!" Then the man said, "You must have that new 'Mexican Money'." And I replied, "Yeah, Mexican Jumping Money!" I got my food and ate. The man ordered his food, but he got his to go. After I ate, I drove over to the Peddler Mall. I was walking around, not really paying too much attention when I hear, "Why, hello again!" I looked up and it was the man from Wendy's. I waved and smiled and thought how strange that I ran into him again.
My Feelings:
What I found stranger than anything here was that I ran into him again at the Peddler Mall. If he had eaten in the restaurant, then I would have worried that he was stalking me or something. But since he got his food to go, I think it was just a weird coincidence. Although, the fact that he remembered me was a bit strange too.
Besides that, I was surprised, and I guess a bit "proud" (is that the right word?) that I was able to catch his joke about the "Mexican Jumping Money" and expand on it.
